LHS WELCOME NEW STUDENTS

“What you become is what Laboratory High School becomes.”
These are the words of the former dean of the College of Education, Dr. Emmanuel J. Songcuan in his inspirational message to the incoming students of the Laboratory High School during the Orientation program for grades 7 and 11 held yesterday in the Eriguel Hall.

The event was organized by the LHS administration, faculty and staff as spearheaded by its principal, Prof. Agnes O. Laron.
The simultaneous orientation program both commenced with warm welcomes from the newly installed dean of the College of Education, Dr. Antonio V. Calicdan and was followed by the presentation of DMMMSU administrators, high school faculty and staff.

It was highlighted by the discussion on the following topics: student code of discipline as discussed by Faculty Regent Hon. Jo Ann P. Rulla and with the rounds of talk regarding the high school academic policies and grading system by Dr. Rissa Banaña.

Through this event, the parents and the new students had the chance to meet and greet with the teachers as well as the other school personnel. It was also the first time for the students to finally meet their classmates and schoolmates in an on campus event.

The affair also served as an excellent jump start and ice breaker to warm up the students before the classes officially start on Tuesday, August 13, 2019.

LHS NAGBAGONG BIHIS
